Microsoft SkyDrive for Windows updated with status window and logo

Microsoft continues to enhance their SkyDrive app for the Windows platform. The latest update was just delivered. In addition to fixing bugs and improving stability, it also brings two frontend updates.

Users can now get a quick glance on the status of sync process by clicking on the SkyDrive icon in the system tray. If the sync process is complete, it would show the last time data was updated. If the sync process is ongoing, users can see how many files and data need to be synced.

SkyDrive app for Windows also now features the new branding of the service. Microsoft has updated the logo of this cloud storage platform. They plan to roll out this redesigned branding everywhere in the coming days.
